It's Boston, So I Guess That Lends Some Credibility But...

Jun 24, 2013 -- 5:59pm
This is a bizarre story if I ever heard one. Aaron Carter (remember him? Solo act brother of  the Backstreet Boys' Nick Carter?) claims he was jumped by four dudes in Boston on Saturday because he was - get this - performing in New Kids on the Block Territory.
Uh... what?
According to Carter, a huge guy approached him in a parking lot after dinner Saturday night and said "I heard you’re doing a show here tomorrow. This is the town of the New Kids," and shortly thereafter three other guys jumped out of a Gold Chevy Malibu and tried to beat him up. "Tried," of course, is the operative word in Aaron's story, because while they landed a shot on his face, he's a 6th degree blackbelt in Muay Thi, broke his knuckles on them, and sent them packing. Check out the pictures he posted:
So let me get this straight... there are four guys in Boston who are such big fans of the New Kids on the Block that they set out in their gold Chevy to beat up a singer who hasn't put out a noteworthy song in, what, 12 years? And then he beat them all up like a superhero? Maybe it's just some kind of publicity stunt, and if so, it's apparently working, but sorry, I'm not buying it.
