Update 8:32pm: CBS 6 is reporting the driver is alive but suffered serious burns and has been taken to Westchester Medical Center.

A major explosion shook the town of Glenville in Schenectady County Thursday evening. Glenville Supervisor Chris Koetzle tells NewsChannel 13 a truck carrying propane struck the Maple Avenue Bridge. It happened around 6:35pm and knocked out power to over 1,200 National Grid customers in Glenville and Clifton Park.
