The U.S. is moving closer to banning TikTok. The ban passed the Senate on Tuesday and is headed to President Biden's desk, where he plans to sign it into law. The bill would require TikTok's Chinese parent company, ByteDance, to sell off its stake within 9-12 months or be banned in the U.S. The ban is expected to face stiff legal challenges.
