Earlier in the day, Sheeran hinted at the surprise show with an Instagram post in a Boston Celtics jersey, inviting fans to meet him at the pub. The Dubliner shared a video of Sheeran performing his hit song "I Don't Care" with traditional instruments. This surprise performance in Boston was part of Sheeran's series of surprise shows over St. Patrick’s Day weekend, including debuting a song in New Orleans and playing a rooftop show in Nashville.
