Sabrina Carpenter and Christina Aguilera started at Disney Channel before becoming famous singers. Carpenter credited the “What a Girl Wants” vocalist for her inspiration. The “Espresso” singer told Teen Vogue in 2018 about her favorite music. “I wasn’t forced to like one thing as a kid,” she remarked. It wasn't like, ‘Oh, you're a kid, so you listen to pop music or these kinds.'” Carpenter said she liked soul music. Carpenter stated that Aguilera's “Beautiful” really influenced her. “I don’t think I remember when I learned this song,” she said. “I learn songs instead of hearing or listening to them because from the moment I could open my mouth and speak, I knew I wanted to sing, so I always saw songs as a way to showcase and develop my own voice.” Which song did you hear as a child that made you fall in love with music?
