NewsChannel 13 shared a video on Facebook showing two people, one wearing a mask, walking into a backyard in Rotterdam and running off. So what happened in the between time?
The homeowners, a retired couple, returned from church Sunday to find water flooding their backyard. Their above ground pool had been slashed.
We’re retired now, but yes, we worked hard and we had our own little oasis in the back yard with the pool and it was nice. But now I don’t know what’s going to happen.
The couple says they had planned on opening the pool this weekend.
Anyone with information on the two people in the video are asked to call Rotterdam Police.
Security video shows two people, one with a mask, sneaking into a backyard in Rotterdam. Soon after, the retired couple found their above ground pool slashed and gushing water. You can see video of the damage in the comments. “When I came home from church, I put the water on again to fill it because we were getting ready to open it,” said the homeowner. “We’re retired now, but yes, we worked hard and we had our own little oasis in the back yard with the pool and it was nice.
