Despite not currently being in the studio, Grande confirmed that she had created something last year that would eventually be released. She also expressed gratitude for her fans' understanding as she focuses on acting, with no plans for a music tour in the near future. Grande recently promoted her role in Wicked and was nominated for a Golden Globe for her performance in the film.
