The TikTok app remains missing from Apple and Google's app stores a week after being removed due to the US ban-or-divest law. While TikTok is back online, it has not returned to the mobile stores, as Apple and Google risk fines if they make it available. Both companies have not commented on when or if the app will be reinstated. Users who had TikTok before the ban can still use the app, while others must find alternative ways to access it, such as through a browser.
