TikTok users in the U.S. were met with a message on Saturday night stating that the app was no longer available due to a law set to go into effect on Sunday. The law requires TikTok's parent company, ByteDance, to sell to an American company or face a ban starting on Jan. 19. President-elect Donald Trump may give TikTok 90 more days to work out a deal to avoid the ban, citing security concerns about user data and potential influence by the Chinese government.
